2nd cut with hand-chiseled underside

The slabs are hand-chiseled and originally have a thickness of up to 25 cm. This lot consists of second-cut slabs, meaning the aged patina is no longer present, and the surface has been cut.

The slabs can be used for inside and outside

Originally, the thick hand-chiseled slabs were also used indoors. For this purpose, the floors were typically laid simply on a bed of sand or clay. While this method is still possible today, it would require additional effort and result in a higher floor construction.

Bluestone is frost-resistant, making these slabs suitable for outdoor use. Due to their thickness, they are even strong enough to be driven over.
